SmartHelpers is a free collection of browser-based tools built for developers, designers, and anyone who works with data, code, or text every day.
Our Mission
Developers spend a significant part of their day on small, repetitive tasks — formatting JSON, encoding strings, generating UUIDs, testing regular expressions, converting between formats. These tasks are simple in theory, but switching between browser tabs, pasting into random online tools, and worrying about data privacy adds unnecessary friction.
SmartHelpers was built to eliminate that friction. Every tool is available instantly, works without an account, and processes everything locally in your browser. There are no ads on the tools themselves, no sign-up walls, and no data collection.
We believe the best developer tools are the ones that get out of your way and let you focus on what you are actually building.

SmartHelpers currently offers 30+ tools across five categories:
- JSON tools — formatter, validator, minifier, tree viewer, and converters to CSV, YAML, XML, and ENV
- Text tools — text diff, case converter, word counter, text formatter, remove duplicates
- Data conversion — Base64 encode/decode, URL encode/decode, YAML↔JSON, XML↔JSON
- Developer utilities — JWT decoder, UUID generator, hash generator, regex tester, timestamp converter, cron builder, HTTP status codes

Privacy commitment
All processing happens in your browser using JavaScript. When you paste JSON, code, or any sensitive data into a SmartHelpers tool, that data never leaves your machine. We do not have a backend that processes user input. Your data is yours.
